The R5SME Rathbone Dreadnought 'Double Top' features a technologically advanced sound-table made of two super-thin layers of Spruce with a Carbon Fibre lattice in-between.
This ‘Double-Top’ construction enables the sound-table to be a little thinner than a single solid piece of spruce but remain strong and ultra-responsive. The result is a super-resonant and voluminous guitar with bags of both character and all-out power.
Electro-acoustic model featuring an onboard Belcat preamp with 3 Band EQ with Tuner.
Combining this remarkable Double-Top technology with the Sapele Mahogany back and sides ensures that along with your Rathbone’s power comes a warm and colourful tone synonymous with historic dreadnought designs. The larger, traditional dreadnought-sized body naturally enhances the low to mid frequencies and is therefore incredibly versatile. This powerhouse can be used in any musical environment delivering an ideal balance of volume, clarity and player-comfort.
