Overview

An 80s classic returns with Peavey's re-release of the Adrian Vandenberg Signature Series of guitars. Each Vandenberg Series guitar harkens back to its heyday, while offering modern appointments for discerning players. Equipped with a Floyd Rose original tremolo bridge and Seymour Duncan pickups, the re-released Vandenberg Signature model is a modern take on one of the most iconic guitars of the era.

The Vandenberg Matte Black model features a stunning finish on an all-mahogany body. The neck and body wood are crafted from high-grade mahogany, providing a solid foundation for rich sustain and resonance. The bound ebony fingerboard adds a touch of elegance and delivers smooth, effortless playability, catering to the most intricate techniques. Each Vandenberg Signature guitar is equipped with a Floyd Rose® original tremolo bridge, allowing for precise tuning stability and expressive dive bombs. The dual-action truss rod ensures effortless adjustments to maintain optimal neck relief. The set-thru neck joint, 24 ¾-inch scale length, and 15-inch neck radius contribute to excellent playability across the fretboard. The Matte Black model features eye-catching diamond inlays.

Incorporating legendary Seymour Duncan® pickups, Vandenberg Signature guitars offer a tonal palette that spans from searing, high-gain leads to nuanced, dynamic cleans. With a 3-way pickup selector switch and 2 master volume controls, musicians can sculpt their sound with precision. The Matte Black model offers a splash of color with a Seymour Duncan® TB-4 bridge pickup featuring a red screw bobbin alongside the black slug bobbin and the STK-S6 Custom Stack Plus in black for the neck.

A celebration of 35 years of music, the Adrian Vandenberg Signature Series honors an original collaboration based on innovation, precision, and craftsmanship.

The reintroduction of the Vandenberg Signature Series is a celebration not only of a groundbreaking guitar, but an influential artist's journey. Adrian's self-monikered band Vandenberg emerged from the Netherlands onto the global stage in 1982, touring extensively across the U.S., Europe, and Japan. Eventually, Adrian's highly sought-after talent led him to join Whitesnake, where his unforgettable lead guitar on the chart-topping "Here I Go Again" defined the 8x-platinum Whitesnake album. He co-wrote the entire platinum album "Slip of the Tongue" (1989), sharing guitar duties with Steve Vai during the subsequent tour. Adrian also contributed significantly to Whitesnake's "Restless Heart" and remained an integral part of the band for over a decade. His popularity led to his initial collaboration with Peavey in 1988. Made to his specifications and road-tested over the years, Vandenberg guitars have become highly coveted on the resale market.

In 2013, Adrian formed a new band, Vandenberg's MoonKings, delivering multiple acclaimed albums. The band Vandenberg later reformed and released a comeback LP in 2020. Among many highlights, "Freight Train" gathered 1.6 million Spotify streams. In many ways, the re-release of the Vandenberg Signature Series guitar is a Peavey homecoming and a celebration of Adrian's storied career.
