Faith Blood Moon series are an exciting departure from traditional woods that are usually used. Featuring highly figured 'AAA' grade Solid Indonesian Trembesi on top, back and sides with a gloss finish, this guitar gives a harmonically powerful tone as striking to hear as to observe. Faith Blood Moon guitars are bound with Flamed Maple and feature Macassan Ebony fingerboards, headplates, heelplates, bridges and bridge pins. All Blood Moon series Faith Guitars are complete with a Faith Hardcase.
This Faith Guitar is fitted with the refined, low-profile Fishman INK3 preamp system with the Sonicore piezo pickup located under the saddle. The preamp features a chromatic tuner, 3 band EQ and volume control. The top seems to take a little playing to warm up and become fully responsive, particularly on the bass end; when it does though, the tone is great. <br />

It's also very comfortable to play, well finished and has sustain by the bucketload. I was drawn to it because it's both a well-balanced strummer and a resonant fingerpicker. For the price in particular, this guitar is silly good.<br />

Love the look, fit and finish are beautiful as is the tone of the trembesi. I'm not a fan of the DR strings it came with. There is a lot of finger noise. The action could be a bit lower (1/16th"). I purchased this guitar to appease my desire for a Taylor 814ce.. the looks certainly do.
